“Sailing on the Wine Dark Sea”

A  Greek  photographic odyssey  embracing  gods,  myth,  literature, astrological  charts &  insights.

Sue has a fascination with mythology, astrology and the ancient world and this talk blends some of these elements as she discusses some of the sacred sites visited during a ‘mythological pilgrimage’ through Greece in 2014.   She shares the charts and thoughts of a couple of the amazing people who both organised and performed during this pilgrimage tour.

Sue also has a particular  interest in photography and mounted in 2012 at the library an exhibition entitled’ La Belle France’ comprising of images taken on a mystical journey through France in 2011.  

Sue Robertson attended the National Art School 1971-73 and graduated in 1986 with an arts degree from Sydney University, majoring in French and also studying comparative religion, anthropology, fine art and drama.   In the 1980’s she designed a set of astrological greeting cards.   She gained a diploma in information management at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2003 and works within the events and marketing team at Randwick City Library.
